When I used to work in BT2 in Dundrum, there was a song that would occasionally come on over the speakers. For ages I had no idea who this band was but I was literally addicted to this song. After Youtubing a few of the lyrics I found the band and the song, Haim ‘Don’t Save Me’.
I instantly had three new girl crushes. Girls who could sing, play instruments, make amazing music, be a little silly and have amazing dress sense? Sold. They are each so individual in their look and style, which I love as it shows their authenticity as a band. Its always the manufactured bands that have themed styles to each video and photo shoot which I dislike as it never looks genuine.
The three sisters, Este, Danielle and Alana, sure know how to make a catchy tune. If you haven’t heard them yet, definitely check out their music. I’m going to leave you with a few of my favourite pictures of them and, of course, the song that introduced me to them.
