Second last festive tune for you all. This one is one of the most famous and influential Christmas songs ever, Band Aid ‘Do They Know Its Christmas?’ This song was released in 1984 to raise money for victims of the Ethiopian famine. I think it is important to remember that not every one is having a wonderful time with family and friends at Christmas and that its important to help in any way that we can, even if its only in a small way. St Vincent De Paul do amazing things at Christmas and its simple to get involved, the Christmas Shoebox Appeal is another great idea. I would encourage everyone to look into local fundraisers this Christmas and help make this time better for others.
