Merry Christmas Ya Filthy Animal

Apologies for the lack of posts the last few days, its been manic! This is the first time I’ve been on my laptop in four days so I finally have the chance to post. The countdown is well and truly on for Christmas now. If any of you are having a hard time getting into the Christmas spirit, then I have one word for you: Frozen. Ok I have four more words actually: go and see it! I have a well documented love of Disney films, yes I’m twenty four, but I honestly believe that Frozen is a film that everyone will love. My sisters and I came out of the cinema singing and dancing around the place! So if you only take one piece of advice from me ever, its to go and see Frozen as soon as possible.

I am finally finished my Christmas shopping, and just in time too. The stores are getting crazy. I really don’t like shopping in the last week running up to Christmas, everyone is a little hysterical for my liking. Have you also noticed how many stores are starting their sales before Christmas? I can see the benefit to both, retailers get to push more product faster and customers get a better deal in the run up to Christmas. But at the same time, I think I prefer the sales after Christmas, I think the thrill of getting a bargain before Christmas gets swallowed up in the mania.

Tonight, myself and my friend Conor are going out for some food to catch up, and we’ve decided to turn it into a mini Christmas party. The Katie and Conor Christmas Partay that is. Expect some weird Instagram pictures coming your way! We’re going to be wearing Christmas jumpers and everything. Speaking of which, I found the best Christmas jumper ever a few weeks ago. Since getting it though, I’ve seen it every where! So many people have it, so its a little unoriginal now but I still love it. Anything that reminds me of Home Alone Two is a winner in my books. Here’s hoping my fuzzy Zara leopard print coat keeps me warm in this horrible weather! Jeans are J Brand, boots are Carvela and the jumper is from a random shop in Dublin.
