Last Saturday I went to the Arctic Monkeys with some of my best friends. It was a very last minute decision. One of our friends was home from Toronto for one night only and had a ticket for the Arctic Monkeys. Cue mad scramble to find three more tickets so that we could all go as a group! We got it all sorted the day before and I’m so glad I went.

We had the funniest day! From drinking on my friends roof before, singing on the bus and spilling beer literally everywhere at the concert. It was great to have most of our group of friends back together, it’s been about 2 years since we’ve all properly seen each other.

I’ll be honest, I was too busy having a good time to worry about getting a photo of my outfit! I wore black high waisted jeans from Topshop with a white and black crop top. Probably wasn’t the best choice with all the bloating effects of beer, but what can you do. I threw on my leather jacket and had my green rain coat from the Gap, just incase. My boots were actually this great pair of wellies I got in Penny’s that day, so last minute I know. I’ll get a good photo of them and show you guys soon.

I kept make up simple because when you’re out all day, the last thing you want is to have to touch up elaborate make up several times. A little Studio Sculpt from MAC, bronzer, mascara and a slick of liquid liner was all I bothered with on my skin and eyes. I wore MAC Lady Danger on my lips to brighten up my outfit.

The concert was incredible. I would definitely recommend to go and see them live. I hadn’t seen them in years so it was great to hear their new songs live too. Also, my crush on Alex Turner has now reached crazy proportions!

I’m headed to a festival called Longitude this weekend. Three days on music ahead of me! I promise to be better at taking photos of my festival outfits this time!
