I only realised this morning just how much I need to clear out my wardrobe. It appears to be taking longer and longer everyday to actually find the clothes I’m looking for. I think I have wardrobe envy thanks to my sister. Although she has very kindly allowed me to take over some of her new wardrobe with winter coats and full length dresses… Even then she still has tonnes of space!
Anyway, enough of my jealousy! I went out on Saturday night with my girls. We haven’t been out properly together in two and a half months so it was a big deal. Also, big congratulations to all my friends who finished their accounting exams!
I had a new green dress on the entire time I was getting ready and then last minute I changed into this. This leather mini skirt is one of my best buys ever, it’s a great piece to have in my wardrobe. I paired it with this white crop and kept to the monochrome look.
Leather skirt: Asos
White Crop: Topshop
White Bandeau: American Eagle
Heels: Zara
I kept my make up and hair simple. My hair is naturally pretty straight so I decided to embrace it rather than to curl my hair like I normally do. Nothing too crazy make up wise. I decided to go with a bold lip and keep everything else pared back. The lipstick is Party Parrot by MAC and I’m wearing RImmel Waterproof liquid liner. You can see more make up details on my Summer Essentials post.
I am one of those people that when it comes to clothing, I want to be comfortable. That is my number one priority. After that, the look is obviously very important. But I always think, if you’re not comfortable in something, then you won’t feel or look good, no matter how beautiful the garment is. I’ve learned that the hard way over the years by wearing sore shoes, dresses that were too tight, jeans that were uncomfortable… the list goes on and on.
As you can see from the loose fitting, practically pyjamas outfit below, I’m not like that anymore! These pants are actually my sisters, but I woke up and all I wanted to wear was nice, relaxed, printed trousers. Sister with the amazing new wardrobe to the rescue! I paired it with a silk t shirt and some chunky gold jewellery to make it a little less “Hey I just got out of bed and now I’m here”.
Printed Pants: H&M
Silk T Shirt: Sandro
Sandals: Aldo
Watch: Asos
Necklace: Topshop
The comfort-is-key theme continued yesterday with my beloved maxi and a light blue cami to match. As you can see I also kept my hair straight for the rest of the week. It’s really more laziness than anything else!
Maxi Skirt: River Island
Watch: Asos
Wishbone Necklace: Marc Jacobs
Shoes (even though you can’t see them!): Zara
So that’s all I have for my outfit round up this week as I am off to Frankfurt first thing in the morning for a flying visit! I can’t wait to tick another German city of my list of places to see.
Follow me on Instagram and Facebook to keep up to date with my adventures in Frankfurt and I will post a diary soon after I’m back.
Have a great weekend, and Happy 4th of July to all my American readers!

It was very funny to read that you changed your Outfit 😉 I would love to see that dress you actually picked out in first place, because I think that green matches very good with your looks 😀
I really like your Blog. It’s very classy but not to fancy.
Keep it that way!
love xx
