We all want healthy, glowing skin right? That’s pretty much a given.
Today, I wanted to share with you my favourite products for getting that glowing, fresh look on your skin. There’s millions of products out there, but these are the ones that I find myself gravitating towards again and again. Let me know if you’ve tried any of them in the comments below!
Glossier Super Bounce Serum
One of the best ways to get glowing skin is to work on your skincare. I’ve only become obsessive about this in the last 12 months, and it has made all the difference in the world. Glowing skin can be achieved by ensuring that your skin is nice and hydrated. I gravitate towards Glossier’s serums, especially Super Bounce, due to it’s hyaluronic acid which can hold 1000 times it’s weight in water. It instantly freshens, and hydrates my skin, leaving it soft and plumped. If you’ve looking to get your skin glowing, definitely invest in your skincare routine, and be regimented about it!
Mac Strobe Cream in Gold Lite
I literally don’t know what I did before this product came into my life. Honestly. Mac’s strobe cream has been a staple for years now, but when they released it in Gold Lite, it was game over for me. The gentle golden glow that you get from this product has me obsessed, and I never go without it. I feel that it makes such a difference to my make up routine. It adds a soft, lit from within glow that always makes me look more fresh faced, and evens out my skin tone.
Becca Champagne Pop
A lot of you will know about this product due to it’s cult status. It’s the first highlighter I ever bought and I was straight off the bat – obsessed with it. I’m not one for having an intense highlight, and Becca have created the perfect product for us highlighter newbies. Use this on your cheekbones, to accentuate collarbones, or on your cupids bow to add a lovely glow. It’s a nice gold with a pink hue, meaning it looks amazing on everyone. Definitely give it a try.
Mac Gold Deposit
An oldie, but a goodie, Mac Gold Deposit is one of my favourites for adding a golden glow. Fair warning, you need to use this sparingly. Otherwise you’ll be out there looking like a gleaming golden Oscar. I used to use this as a bronzer, but now I would use it as a bronzer topper, or to highlight and accentuate collarbones, shoulders etc. Don’t do a Katie and cover yourself head to toe. Less is more and all that.
Nars Orgasm
I remember I bought a trio of these Nars highlighters years ago in London, we’re talking 2009 here. Ever since then, Nars Orgasm has been a favourite of mine. It’s the perfect flushed colour for your cheeks, and has a little sheen to add some glow. One of my favourite things about it is the fact it’s a cream product, so it melts into your skin easily, looking effortless.
Nuxe Shimmering Dry Oil
This is the mecca for all over body glow. This is my favourite product to break out in the summer as the sheen it adds to your body is next level. Use all over your body for a ‘just back from holidays’ glow, or accentuate your legs and arms with a light spritz. This is a dry oil, so it moisturises as you use it, but make sure to let it sink in before you put clothes on. It does transfer, so be careful!
These are my current favourite glowy products, but I’m always open to more suggestions! Please leave a comment down below if you have any go to products that you think I should try.
