Shop for Good

This week was a rush. A major rush. There always seemed to be something that I needed to do, or send off, or check, or something. There was always something. So I feel like I’ve been chasing my tail. However, I actually managed to document all my outfits for the week which is a big accomplishment for me, so I’m taking it as a win!

Dundrum Town Centre had an amazing discount weekend on last weekend. it was called Shop for Good and the idea was that you bought vouchers for discounts in stores, and all the money from the vouchers went to two charities – Console and Cycle Against Suicide. I thought this was an amazing idea. A great way to gain awareness and fundraising while people got discounts for doing good. I’m not sure how much they raised, but I hope it was a lot!

I bought this boyfriend jacket in H&M on the discount. It’s really lightwieght and easy to wear. It also comes in beige, which is great for summer evenings, but they unfortunately didn’t have it in my size.

I’ve been making an effort to try and wear clothes in my closet that I haven’t worn in a while. I bought this COS top last year and completely forgot about it. It’s a lovely light grey colour with a band on yellow on the hem. Perfect summer wear. A gold necklace added a bit of a statement.

Wednesday felt like an oversized shirt kind of day. This one I bought years ago in the Gap. It’s actually called a boyfriend shirt because it has that oversized loveliness that comes with stealing men’s clothes from them! It’s really soft too. I just paired this with high waisted black jeans and my brown suede Chelsea boots for a dressed down look.

Thursday I knew was going to be busy and being comfortable on my feet was my main concern. I’m still obsessed with my Nike Roshe trainers. They’re perfect for days when I was to be comfortable but still want to look like I’m making an effort!

We had a lovely day on Friday and had a BBQ in work. It was so nice to sit on the roof with some beers and food and just relax. Of course then I had to run off to a surprise party – which was so funny and so cute! I chose to wear my brown leather pants from Zara but instead of dressing them up like they usually do, I wanted to make them more casual for work. So I paired them with my much loved COS shirt, a denim jacket and sandals.

I’m hopefully going to book my girlie holiday to Marbella next week, just need to sort out some details first. I can’t wait to go! Sun, sea, cocktails, the perfect girls holiday!
