Aussie Offerings

Lately I keep coming across amazing clothes and shoes, and when I do a bit of research as to where they are from, its usually always Australia. Before, clothing companies in Australia seemed so unattainable, what with Australia being exactly on the other side of the world to Ireland, but now, many of them offer great shipping rates which is brilliant because I have fallen in love with so many things! Today I’m going to go through some of my favourite Australian brands.

1. Sass & Bide

Ok so Sass & Bide isn’t a brand I recently discovered, I’ve known the brand for many years, but it is absolutely one of my favourites. Texture, movement, pattern, their designs have it all. I loved their use of polka dots in New York Fashion Week. It was so clever to have them on sheer fabric to elongate the pieces. Just last month, they opened their flagship store in New York and it is to die for! Its pristine white and total perfection.

2. Sabo Skirt

I recently found Sabo Skirt on Instagram and instantly fell in love. Despite it being absolutely freezing here and I’m wearing about 10 layers, Sabo Skirt has me dreaming about summer already. Slipping on a cute pair of shorts with a pretty top, or a great summer dress, I actually end up in a total day dream on that site! I love their use of colour, lace and flattering shapes. You’re guaranteed to find something you want on Sabo Skirt. The last outfit, the one with the t shirt and shorts in the blue leopard print is my favourite!

3. Friend of Mine

Despite this brand only being 4 years old, Friend of Mine has been all over the worldwide press including Vogue, In Style and Grazia to name a few. The reason for this is the strong, clean aesthetic that their clothes have. There are so many pieces I love from the website, I could have spent all day on it!

4. Lack of Color

I have a slight hat obsession. And when I say slight I of course mean huge hat obsession. I think they are one of the easiest and chicest ways to update an outfit. I’ve been searching for the perfect hat for a while now and my prayers have been answered. Lack of Color has an entire website of hat perfection! Whether you’re looking for a wide brim, or something closer to a fedora, this is the site you should be on.

5. Senso

To me, Senso is shoe heaven. If you haven’t checked out their website, you need to stop whatever it is your’e doing (after you read this of course) and go and check it out. Fashion forward, stylish and totally cool, Senso is my new favourite shoe brand for sure.
