Happy New Year! I’ll tell you straight off, I’m not one of those people who thinks “New Year, New Me”. I think everyone puts too much pressure on themselves in the new year to change too dramatically. Instead I choose to not make resolutions, I never keep them! Instead, I am just going to do everything that I can to make this year better than 2013. That could be working harder, studying harder, being nicer, being stronger, switching off from technology more. Little changes all add up, so that’s how I am personally approaching 2014.

I hope everyone had a lovely New Years Eve. Normally its so hyped up and a total let down. This year myself and my friends went to Galway and had a brilliant night. For those of you that don’t know, Galway is a small city on the west coast of Ireland. We had such a great time. I got my make up done in MAC and was really delighted with how it turned out. I really love MAC products and I use them all the time. My lipstick was Party Parrot which I’ve showed to you before in another post.

  

Next up we had the nicest Mexican dinner and then headed back to get ready. Unfortunately I forgot to take photos of my outfit (what kind of style blogger am I?!) but I promise I’ll recreate it soon and show you guys. We had the best night in a club called Halo. There were party hats and chocolates everywhere and we all drank way too much champagne! A really nice way to ring in the year with some of my closest friends by my side. Also as you can see from the photos, my friends and I are crazy selfie queens so apologies!

This month is going to be crazy but I promise I will endeavor to post as frequently as often. Between starting a new job, meetings, college, exams, assignments, a charity event I’m organising, and a ballet tour I’m going on, while also needing to spend time with friends and family, I’m fairly busy!
