I’m sure you have noticed that I wear a lot of black. Like a lot. Despite it being a resolution to not wear so much black or dark clothing, I literally can’t stop. As I’m typing this I’m in an all black outfit. Old habits die hard. Last week however, I did make a big effort to wear more colour.
I love this cobalt blue top that I got in Zara on sale. It has a transparent ruffle at the bottom which I tucked into my leather skirt for a more refined look. I love cobalt blue and black together. I also remembered to take a details shot for you guys. Midi rings are my obsession!

My brightest outfit was definitely this one! It was a lovely summery day so I decided to embrace it. This bold orange sweater is a new favourite of mine and I paired it with white cropped jeans and tan sandals to keep everything bright.

White Jeans – Topshop
Tan Sandals – Aldo
Ok so this a mostly black outfit, but the blazer is super bright! I love this blazer, which is actually my sisters! It looks a little Halloweeny because of the black with it, but I still love it!

Black Jeans – J Brand

Back to black… mostly. This striped top saves it from being too dark an outfit. I’m still obsessed with this hat that I got for Christmas. It literally goes with everything!

I went out on Sunday night with friends as it was a bank holiday Monday. Didn’t manage to get a shot of my outfit – sorry! But I did take a shot of my hair and make up for you guys. I’m wearing Mac Studio Sculpt and a Mac Bronzer on my face, Urban Decay Naked 2 for my eyes with Maybelline Mascara and Mac Snob lipstick. I curled my hair into soft waves with my curler and set it with a little bit of Elnett hairspray.
I had a great night on Sunday but needed a huge lunch on Monday to fully recover! I met up with my lovely friend Creina and we went for lunch and a catch up. How good do those wings look?! The rest of the day was spent lazing about and relaxing. I’m back to my normal routine from tomorrow so I’ll hopefully have an outfit post for you guys on Instagram soon!
I hope you all had a great weekend! Check out some of my favourite photos from the Met Gala last night on Facebook plus photos from behind the scenes.
