Please don’t hate me for talking about autumn already. It’s so hard not too! Have you been into a store lately? There are coats everywhere! As I type this, the sun is beating into my room, it’s a beautiful day, and yet I’m thinking about winter wear. I apologise. But seriously look online and just try to not gravitate towards jumpers.
I’m looking for transitional pieces at the moment. All my coats are way too wintery I’ve realised, like this outrageous faux fur one. I don’t know how I’ve got to this point of my life with out a mac. While the ultimate goal is to buy a Burberry one and wear it to death, along side my Acne leather jacket goal, there are some really gorgeous, affordable options at the moment. Like the one above from Asos. A perfect transitional piece. I posted on my Instagram a while back, this camel suede beauty from Topshop, and I’ve pretty much obsessed about it ever since.
Another piece that I say I’m going to buy every year, and never do, is the perfect over the knee boots. Currently, my holy grail is the Stuart Weitzman Lowland boot in suede. I love the flat heel because I think I’d get more wear out of them than a pair with a heel, although I would love one of those too!
If you follow me on Pinterest, you will know I have an obsession with big cosy jumpers. The more oversized the better. If it looks like I’m drowning in wool then we’re on the right track. I really need to learn how to knit so that I can have the jumpers of my dreams, but having got tangled in the wool last time I tried to knit, I think I’ll leave it to the experts. I’ve been looking at lots of Australian brands lately, who are doing some amazing knitted pieces. I may need to do an update of my favourite Australian brands post!
Where are your favourite places to shop for winter pieces? I’m always on the look out for new brands and websites! Share below!
