I’m sure many of you have noticed by now that I’m not great at wearing colour. Or color for all my American readers! I tend to stick to a palette of black, grey, more black, blue denims, a little white and then a little more black. I could say I’m just embracing the monochrome trend, but really I think I’m in a little colour palette rut. I think the below quote describes me very well.
Since realising my dilemma, I’ve been looking around for some bright winter inspiration. I think in winter especially it is so easy to fall into the rut of wearing darker clothes, which isn’t a bad thing as darker clothes normally always look elegant and edgy all at once. But I do believe its good to be more adventurous. So next time I’m out shopping, I need to look out for clothes like my inspiration board below. It could be a coat, sweater, pants, accessory, a hat, absolutely anything to brighten up my wardrobe.
