Short Hair Don’t Care

Happy November! I don’t know about you, but as soon as Halloween is over, I start thinking about Christmas. I start thinking about what I want to bake, which presents I’m going to buy for friends and family, and of course, what outfits to wear to all the Christmas parties. You can expect to see lots of wishlists on this blog soon!

I finally got my hair chopped last weekend. It was definitely needed! This shorter style is a lot easier for work and I’m loving the little bit of colour that was put into the front of my hair! It really lightens all my hair up so i’m pretty delighted with it! I had lots going on last Tuesday. I was up really early for a women in business talk in Dublin at 7am, I had a crazy day’s work and then I attended a talk with the charity organisation that I help out with. Crazy long day! I wanted to wear something that would be professional and appropriate in each of those situations. This Sandro silk tee is great with a suit. It’s uneven hemline with the small frill prevents a suit from looking boring.

Here’s a closer look at the colour in my hair. Believe it or not, but this is actually the first time I have had permanent colour put into my hair. It’s just a little colour at the front along my hairline. It really lifts the colour of my hair so much. The cut is pretty blunt too, which I’m loving. My hair looks so much healthier now. I randomly managed to coordinate my headphones with my necklace that day too!

More Sandro pieces today! This top is one of my favourite Sandro pieces because of the awesome cut out detail in the back. I would have never thought orange and blue would go so well together, but it just works. Simple black trousers and black brogues completed this easy look.

I didn’t end up dressing up on Halloween, which seems silly after all my Halloween costume posts! But being in work all day and having a work party straight after work meant there was no time to go home and change, and I didn’t want to be lugging around a big bag of clothes all night. During the day in work I wore this moss green blouse with work trousers. Later that night I changed into deep brown leather trousers and heels. If anyone asked – I was dressed as a tree!

Another crazy week up ahead! I’ve also got some exciting events coming up this month including a blogger meet up, and a sneak peak at one of my favourite brands Spring Summer collection. I can’t wait to share it with you all!
